Each piece in our lacquerware collection is handcrafted in Vietnam, using traditional techniques that have been employed for centuries to create unique, beautiful, and durable objects.

From harvesting the tree sap used to make the lacquer resin to sanding and custom-shaping the wooden base, every step of the production process is carried out entirely by hand. Skilled lacquerware artisans apply Caspari's designs to the wood, adding gold leaf, silver leaf, and hand-painted accents where needed, and then patiently apply multiple layers of high-gloss lacquer to finish and protect each piece.

The care, attention, and craftsmanship invested in every detail result in a lacquerware collection of exceptional beauty.

Because each item is handcrafted, slight variations in color, finish, or design may occur. We ask for your understanding regarding these small differences, as each piece is a unique work of art in itself.
