Every piece in our lacquerware collection is handcrafted in Vietnam, employing the same traditional techniques that have been used for centuries to create unique, beautiful, and durable objects.

From the harvesting of the tree sap that is processed into lacquer resin to the sanding and sizing of the wooden base, every step of the process is done by hand. Lacquerware artisans apply the Caspari designs to the wood, add any gold or silver leafing and hand-painted accents, and then patiently apply multiple coats of high-gloss lacquer to finish and protect the piece.

The care and attention given to every detail results in a collection of exceptional beauty.

Due to the handmade nature, lacquerware items may have slight variations in color, finish, or design. These differences are normal and make each piece unique; each item is a work of art in itself.
