Every piece in our lacquerware collection is handcrafted in Vietnam, using the same traditional techniques that have been employed for centuries to create unique, beautiful, and durable objects.

From harvesting the tree sap that is processed into lacquer to sanding and sizing the wooden base, every step of the production process is carried out by hand. Lacquerware artisans apply Caspari designs to the wood, add any gold or silver leaf and hand-painted accents, and then patiently apply multiple layers of high-gloss lacquer to finish and protect the piece.

The care and attention given to every detail result in a lacquerware collection of exceptional beauty.
